We are the 22st board of Hot Shots! During the academic year 2025-2026 we will be the face of the small but nice floorball association in Nijmegen. To give you a better impression of who we are, we will introduce ourselves :)

Hello hello, I’m Sterre and I’m proud to say that I will be the chair of Hot Shots once more this year! Last year together with my board I tried to help Hot Shots as much as possible and want to continue doing so! That’s why with the new board I want to give everything to help Hot Shots. I currently play at the Sonics in Amersfoort for big field matches. I study Nursing at the HAN in the beautiful Nijmegen and live here as well. Therefore you will find me at the sportscentre quite a lot. If I’m not doing stuff for my study or training with Hot Shots you will most likely find me with friends or somewhere in the city. If you have any questions about our amazing association, feel free to come and talk to me and I will try my best and convince you that our association is the best!
Heleen Aerts – secretary
Hi everyone! I’m Heleen and I’m the secretary of Hot Shots. In September 2024, I discovered floorball during the open trainings and fell in love with it right away. After joining a few activities and a fun members’ weekend, I found out that the association was also full of amazing people, so I decided to join a committee and be more active. For now I think it will be really valuable to contribute even more to the association as a board member. I play in the Hot Flames women’s big field team, and I’m also a proud member of the small field team ‘Niet zo boffen’. Besides playing floorball, I’m currently in my Bachelor’s degree in Medicine. I enjoy being creative, going for walks, reading and I’m always up for a night out. If you need me, you can find me at the trainings or afterwards in The Yard! :)
Marjolein Ligtvoet – treasurer
Hi everyone! My name is Marjolein and I am the proud treasurer of Hot Shots this year. Last September I joined multiple trainings and I have been an active and enthusiastic member ever since. Besides sports, joining the association has brought me lots of joy, so much so that I now want to do more for the association as a board member. Last year I already helped organise our very own HOT tournament and joined the baking committee. Like last year I am a proud member of the small field team ‘Niet zo boffen’, and this year I am also playing in the Hot Flames women’s bigfield team. At the moment I am following the Medical Biology master’s, and besides floorball I love joining other sports activities and being outside, being creative, and cooking and baking, but most of all I enjoy spending time chatting with friends. So don’t hesitate to come to me for a chat or if you have any questions!
Matthijs Crousen – internal commissioner
Hello everyone! I am Matthijs and I am the internal commissioner of Hot Shots. Last year I came into contact with floorball just before the summer holiday and I have been a member of the association since the beginning of last academic year. After playing hockey my whole youth I wanted to try something new, and floorball was right up my alley. I wanted to contribute to the association and so I decided to join two committees. Last year I played bigfield mixed and small field in the team ‘Niet zo boffen’ and this year I will join Flames Men 3 and continue to play in ‘Niet zo boffen’. Of course I also have a life besides floorball. I am currently in my second year of the Bachelor’s Sociology, and I like to cook, go for a walk, and I am (almost) always in for a party. Joep van Duinen – match commissioner
Hi everyone! I am Joep and I am the match commissioner of Hot Shots this year. This will be my 13th year playing floorball. Although I have been a goalie all these years, I still haven’t had enough of it! This year is my third year at Hot Shots, and I thought this would be a good time to do my part. Last year I was part of the accie and I helped organise our own tournament called HOT. This year I am playing in the second team of Hot Flames, as well as 3v3 and bigfield mixed. Besides floorball, I “study” Biology. Apart from that I really enjoy my free time, I love to go for a walk and go for a drink at a terrace and I read from time to time.
